How RapidFetch handles data
Who it's for
RapidFetch is built for exporting your own channel’s data, content you own or control, and public data you are authorized to use. You are responsible for having the rights or permission for anything you extract.
What the extension reads
Only YouTube pages you open or URLs you give it. Nothing else you browse.
What it extracts
Video links, transcripts/captions, thumbnail image links, and public SEO metadata (titles, descriptions, tags where public).
Where it goes
Into files (CSV/JSON/TXT/ZIP) saved to your device. All extraction happens locally in your browser; the content you extract is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Permissions we request and why
Access to youtube.com pages (to read the data you asked for), storage (to remember your settings and plan counters), downloads (to save your files), clipboardWrite (copy to clipboard), alarms (token refresh scheduling). No permission is used for anything beyond these purposes.
What we never do
Read your browsing outside YouTube, sell your data, or use extracted content ourselves. Rights to YouTube content stay with its owners; you're responsible for how you use what you export.
